Ingenia Holidays Rivershore is a big riverside holiday park in Diddillibah on the Maroochy River, a short drive inland from Maroochydore and Buderim on the Sunshine Coast. House rules are the standard holiday-park set: leash on outside your own site, registration and check-in at reception, never left unattended, and no access to communal areas such as the pool complex, water slides, camp kitchen, playgrounds and the on-site Driftwood Restaurant and Bar. The park itself

This is a full resort park rather than a quiet retreat: a pool complex with water slides, mini-golf, fire pits, large sites and safari-tent glamping along the river. It suits dogs that are relaxed around kids, crowds and other campers, and the big grassy sites give plenty of room to burn energy between swims.

Getting there and out with the dog

The park sits on the Maroochy River at Diddillibah, with on-site parking at your site or cabin, and Noosa and Maroochydore both within an easy drive. For off-park time, the Elizabeth Daniels Park Fenced Dog Park at Buderim is the closest proper off-leash run, with separate large and small dog sections. Council off-leash beach stretches sit on the ocean side of the Maroochy mouth towards Twin Waters, subject to dune and signage restrictions, so read the beach markers before letting the dog off the lead.
