For an off-lead run, Bloomfield Reserve Dog Park offers 21 hectares of parkland with creeks and dams, best for dogs with solid recall, while Machin Park fenced dog park is the fully fenced alternative. For breakfast, Bensons Cafe in Orange or the Plant Room Cafe at Spring Hill are both easy stops from the B&B.

When to go
