Riverside Caravan Park Bli Bli is a small, independently run riverfront park at 295 David Low Way, right on the Maroochy River and an easy walk from the Bli Bli shopping and dining strip. It is a budget, no-frills park rather than a resort operation, and it takes dogs on its traveller sites, which makes it one of the more workable caravan bases on this stretch of the Sunshine Coast.

Dogs are allowed on powered and unpowered caravan and camping sites for travelling guests, up to two dogs per site. They are not permitted in any cabins or permanent site rentals, so this is a bring-the-van or tent option. The park is flexible on dog size, with no strict weight limit, but dogs must be kept on a lead around the grounds, kept quiet, and cleaned up after immediately. Pet approval should be confirmed with management before arrival, since traveller sites take dogs only and policies can vary by season. Standard site fees apply with no separate pet fee published.

Worth knowing

This is a simple park by design: gravel sites, clean amenities with timed showers, a pool and a private boat ramp for Maroochy River fishing, but no camp kitchen and no barbecue area. Management gets consistently good marks for being friendly and the park stays quiet, without playgrounds or jumpies drawing crowds. Bring your own bowls, and treat it as a base rather than a destination.

Getting there and parking

The park fronts David Low Way directly, about 15 minutes from Maroochydore, with parking at your site. The riverbank beside the park suits an on-lead stroll, and the Bli Bli village shops and cafes are walkable.

Close by with the dogs

Muller Park Reserve is a fenced dog park close to the park for a proper off-lead run, Mudjimba Off Leash Beach is 10 to 15 minutes by car, and Loea Boutique Hotel in Maroochydore is the upmarket fallback if you want a cabin-style stay instead.
