Wards Central Dining

Wards Central Dining is an all-day dining room and provedore from the North Street Store crew, set inside the heritage Victoria House building at 4 Thorburn Way, Shenton Park. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor alfresco courtyard, which locals rate as one of the more relaxed spots in the suburb for a coffee or brunch with a dog at your feet.

Dog setup. Dogs stick to the courtyard, not the indoor dining room. It is a spacious, casual area and a regular weekend stop for locals with pets. Bring your own water bowl to be safe, staff are welcoming but a bowl on the table isn't guaranteed.

Weekday mornings are the easiest time to get a courtyard table with a dog in tow. Confirm the courtyard is open (it can close in poor weather) before you make the trip.
