Cup & Co Floreat

Cup & Co Floreat is a bright neighbourhood cafe at 1 Finishline View, in the Eden apartments on the Perry Lakes side of Floreat. It opens early, 6:30am on weekdays and 7am on weekends, and runs through to 3pm, which makes it a natural first stop after a lap of the lakes with the dog. The welcome is genuine: dogs are expected out front rather than tolerated.

The dog setup

Dogs sit with you in the outdoor seating out front, on the footpath and courtyard tables rather than inside. Staff have a habit of fussing over well-behaved dogs and will sometimes bring out a treat, and water bowls are usually set out around the outdoor tables. Usual cafe manners apply: lead on, dog tucked close so it is not in the path of passing prams and plates.

Worth knowing

The menu is all-day brunch with a few surprises, waffles, corn fritters, avocado bruschetta and a crab omelette that gets mentioned a lot, alongside gluten-free options and a kids menu, so it handles a mixed group well. The outdoor seating is limited and fills fast once the brunch crowd lands, so go early on a weekend if a footpath table is the whole point of the trip.

Getting there and parking

The cafe is in the small commercial pocket of the Eden apartments, with parking in the complex and on the surrounding residential streets. Being right on the Perry Lakes side, it is an easy walk from most of Floreat and from the lake paths themselves.
