Somedays Pizza

Somedays Pizza is a casual wood-fired pizzeria at 2/3 Sunshine Beach Road in Noosa Heads, built around sustainable, organic and biodynamic ingredients rather than beach-strip gimmicks. Dogs are explicitly welcome at the outside tables, which turns an evening pizza run into an easy stop with the dog in tow.

The dog setup

Dogs take the outdoor footpath seating; they are not permitted inside. The vibe is relaxed and the staff are good with dogs, but bring your own water bowl rather than relying on one being out. It is an evening venue: doors open at 5pm Monday to Thursday and 4pm from Friday to Sunday, with last orders around 8:30 to 9pm.

What to order

The dough ferments for 48 hours before it hits the wood-fired oven, and the toppings lean seasonal and locally sourced. Classics like the margherita and capricciosa sit alongside rotating creative ones, with gluten-free bases and generous vegan options. Start with the wood-fired organic bread or burrata, save room for the tiramisu, and wash it down with organic or biodynamic wines, craft beer or cocktails.

Getting there and parking

The shop sits on Sunshine Beach Road near the Noosa Fair junction. Free street parking is available on Sunshine Beach Road and the surrounding side streets, and the free holiday bus from Hastings Street stops at Noosa Fair if you are staying in the thick of it.

While you're out there

For off-lead time before dinner, Noosa Heads Doggy Beach on the river side of Claude Batten Drive at Noosa Spit allows off-lead dogs under effective control, with Noosa Spit Dog Beach Car Park as the practical access point. Keep the lead on for the paths and car parks, and note that dogs are restricted inside Noosa National Park. Closer to the pizzeria, Elysium off leash dog park is the inland option.
