Noosa Dunes Supper Club, which took over the former Bombetta site at 1/77 Noosa Drive in Noosa Junction, has permanently closed. The business entered voluntary liquidation, part of a wider run of Noosa hospitality companies that went into administration and liquidation, and the Noosa Drive site is no longer trading. The listing stays up as a record for anyone who knew the room: a casual Italian eatery and bar with wood-fired pizza, pasta, cocktails, live sport and a free pool table, with dogs welcome in the outdoor courtyard seating while it ran.

Worth knowing

There is nothing to book or visit at the Noosa Drive address any more, and any dog policy it ran does not apply. Hours and menus that still circulate online are out of date, so do not build a Junction evening around it. The broader rules that mattered in Noosa still do: dogs stay on a leash in public spaces unless in a signed off-leash area, and they are not permitted in Noosa National Park at all.

Noosa Heads still earns its keep with a dog. The Noosa Heads Doggy Beach at Noosa Spit Recreation Reserve runs off-leash year round on the river side, which is the best free run in town. Somedays Pizza and IZAKAYA ATE are currently trading in the Junction and Hastings Street end of town, both worth a call about outdoor tables before you walk in.
