Careel Reserve, at 2-6 Careel Close beside the Helensvale Community Centre, has a designated off-leash exercise area with open walking paths, and it is only a few minutes away, so an off-lead run before coffee works well. If you would rather stay fenced, Mangrove Jack Park's leash-free area and Xenia Park's fenced dog park are both Helensvale options, and Three Tree Frogs is another local cafe that welcomes dogs at outdoor tables.
