Viva la Vita Ristorante

Viva la Vita Ristorante is the local Italian on Hanson Street in Freeling, a small Barossa-adjacent town about an hour north of Adelaide. The kitchen does everything from gourmet pizzas on fresh bases to home-made gnocchi, schnitzels, yiros and steaks, and the handcrafted gelato is what people come back for. It is a casual, family-run room with outdoor tables, which is exactly where dog owners should aim.

Free street parking runs along Hanson Street and there is parking on site, so even with the dog and the whole family you will not circle the block. It is an easy run up the Main North Road corridor from Adelaide, or across from Gawler in about ten minutes.
