Hane Sushi

Hane Sushi is a casual sushi train and ramen kitchen at Dakabin Crossing on Old Gympie Road, one of the newer additions to the centre's dining row after opening in mid 2025. It runs long days from 11am, seven days a week, and serves up a mix of rotating sushi plates, ramen bowls and small plates in a quick, family-friendly setting.

The dog setup

The venue's listing data points to dogs being allowed at the outdoor seating, but this is a new opening and the outdoor setup is limited and still settling in, so treat it as likely rather than guaranteed. Call ahead on the day to confirm a dog-friendly table is available before you make the trip, and bring your own water bowl, as bowls for visiting dogs are not part of the standard setup. Indoor seating is people only.

The vibe

It runs walk-ins only, with no table reservations, so expect to take a seat as the train passes. Plates cover the favourites: fresh salmon nigiri, spicy aburi salmon, chicken avocado nigiri and whiting sushi, while the hot kitchen turns out ramen bowls, prawn gyoza, bao buns and agedashi tofu. Screens at the tables let you order fresh dishes straight off the menu, and the pace suits a quick lunch or an easy dinner.

Getting there and parking

The shop is at T10, 289 Old Gympie Road, Dakabin, inside the Dakabin Crossing centre north of Brisbane. The centre's car parks sit directly outside, so you can walk the dog in from the car without crossing main traffic, and Dakabin Station is an easy walk away.

Close by with the dogs

Pair the feed with a proper off-lead run first: Carramar Off-Leash Dog Park is the closest dedicated dog park to the centre. For dumplings another night, Little Red Dumpling is in the same suburb.
