Pit Lane Takeaway

Pit Lane Takeaway is a breakfast and lunch takeaway at 1/57 Boyland Avenue in Coopers Plains, in Brisbane's southern suburbs. It does classic Australian takeaway done properly: breakfast plates, burgers, hot chips, fresh sandwiches and daily specials, with the dim sims and portion sizes the regulars keep coming back for. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor undercover seating area.

There is a free parking lot on site plus free street parking nearby, and Coopers Plains train station is a short walk if you are arriving by rail. Hours are 6am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday, with weekends closed, so this is a weekday-only stop, which suits anyone working or passing through Brisbane's south during the week.

Close by with the dogs

For a walk with the feed, the Grey Gum Steps track in Toohey Forest is a short drive north through Moorooka, and the fenced dog parks at Rocklea and Sunnybank are nearby for an off-lead run. On the coffee side, Sundays Cafe in Rocklea is the closest dog-friendly cafe option.
