Felons Brewing Co. Manly

Felons Brewing Co. sits right on the water at Manly Wharf, a big, busy beer hall with harbour views, live music and a sprawling outdoor deck. Well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome across the outdoor areas, which makes it a genuine end-of-walk option after the Corso or the beachfront.

The dog setup

Dogs are allowed in the outdoor seating only, across the deck and jetty area, and the indoor brewery hall is people-only. The leash stays on and dogs stay off the chairs and tables; the venue's own FAQ says as much, and staff move things along if a dog gets restless.

It is a fast-paced, high-volume venue, so bring your own water bowl rather than relying on the bar, and skip it if your dog startles at noise.

Pepsi: weekday lunch is the sweet spot. The deck is calmer, the service is quicker and a settled dog draws none of the weekend crowd traffic.

The vibe

The beer is brewed on site and the menu runs to pizza, fish and chips, oysters and calamari, all with prime views over Manly Cove. The crowd and noise build steadily through weekend evenings, and live music adds to the volume.

Getting there

The venue is at the Manly Wharf ferry terminal, so the ferry from Circular Quay is the easiest arrival, and the terminal is a thirty-minute crossing. Paid parking sits at the Manly Wharf car park and along West Esplanade, and both fill fast at peak times.

Make a day of it

Manly Off-leash Dog Beach gives the lead-free swim beforehand, and the wharf boardwalk plus East Esplanade grass cover the on-leash legs. Andonis Cafe & Bar and The Hold are other dog-friendly tables nearby.
