Noble Falls Tavern

Noble Falls Tavern is a country pub on Toodyay Road in Gidgegannup, right across the road from the Noble Falls walk trail. It is a popular pit stop for hikers and their dogs, with a shaded beer garden that welcomes leashed dogs and a menu of hearty pub classics.

Dog setup. Dogs are welcome on-leash in the beer garden, which is fenced and shaded with water available for hot days. The indoor restaurant and Sports Bar are not dog areas, so plan to eat outside. Bring your own bowl since supply on busy days is not guaranteed.

Getting there. It is about a 45-minute drive northeast of Perth via Toodyay Road, at 2672 Toodyay Rd. Parking is free and generally plentiful, though it fills up on Sunday afternoons when the music is on, so arrive early.

Nearby with the dogs. The Noble Falls walk trail starts directly across the road, an easy 3.6km loop along Wooroloo Brook with a seasonal waterfall, so a walk before or after a counter meal is the obvious combination.

When to go. Weekday lunches are quiet and easy with a dog in tow. If you want the live music, get there before 1pm to grab a beer garden table before the crowd does.
