Noble Falls Tavern

Noble Falls Tavern is an old school country pub on Toodyay Road in Gidgegannup, sitting directly across the road from the Noble Falls walk trail. That position makes it the natural pit stop for Perth hikers and their dogs: finish the loop, cross the road, and take a shaded table in the beer garden with the lead hooked on the chair.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome on-leash in the beer garden, which is fenced and shaded, with water available for dogs on hot days. The indoor restaurant and Sports Bar are not dog areas, so plan on eating outside whatever the weather. Bring your own bowl since supply on busy days is not guaranteed, and keep the lead on: it is a working pub, not an off-leash space.

Getting there and parking

The tavern is at 2672 Toodyay Road, about forty-five minutes northeast of Perth. Parking is free and generally plentiful, though it fills on Sunday afternoons when the music is on, so arrive before 1pm if you want a beer garden table.

Max: get there early on Sundays. The beer garden fills fast once the music starts, and the best dog tables go first.

While you're out there

The Noble Falls walk trail starts directly across the road, an easy loop along Wooroloo Brook with a seasonal waterfall, making a walk plus counter meal the obvious combination. Swan View Fenced Dog Park is on the way back towards the city if the dog still needs a run.
