Element Bar

Element Bar is a craft-beer bar and kitchen on the Jetty Strip at 360 Harbour Drive, Coffs Harbour, a short wander from the harbour and marina. The outdoor deck openly welcomes dogs, which makes it the easy after-beach call when you are staying or walking on the Jetty side of town.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome on the outdoor deck and footpath seating, which is partly covered for shade, but not inside the bar. Keep your dog leashed and settled at your feet, and staff will usually bring water out, though a bowl of your own is worth packing.

The vibe

The room is urban-industrial and the tap list is the headline: a long run of craft beers alongside cider, cocktails and wine. The kitchen covers burgers, wings, ribs and share plates such as arancini, and live music and happy hours fill out the week.

The bar runs from midday to 11pm Sunday to Thursday and to midnight on Friday and Saturday, so it works for lunch through to late dinner. Weekend evenings are the loud, busy window; a weekday lunch is the relaxed version.

Getting there and parking

Street parking runs along Harbour Drive and the side streets, and it tightens up on weekends and warm evenings. Local buses service the Jetty Strip if you would rather leave the car at your accommodation.

Pair it with

Jetty Beach is a 10 to 15 minute walk for an on-lead stroll, and the marina makes a pleasant leashed loop before dinner. For a proper off-leash run, the North Wall Beach off-leash area is the council-listed option in Coffs Harbour.
