Stef&Co

Stef&Co is a waterfront bakery, cafe and downstairs bar on The Promenade at 319-321 Harbour Drive, in the Jetty precinct by Coffs Creek. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor alfresco and deck seating overlooking the water, reached straight off The Promenade path, which makes it an easy breakfast, coffee or evening-pizza stop with the dog along for any of it.

The dog setup

Dogs join you in the outdoor dining areas facing the creek and marina; the indoor rooms stay people-only, with service animals the exception. Access is level from the promenade walkway, so there are no steps to negotiate with a leash in hand. Staff have a welcoming reputation with dogs, but water bowls are not a given, so bring your own. The deck fills at peak times, so mid-morning coffee or an early weeknight dinner is the calmer window for a dog table.

The vibe

The venue shifts character through the day: bakery and cafe early, with the house-made sourdough the signature, then handcrafted sourdough pizzas from 5pm, and a cocktail bar downstairs with live music and themed nights running late. Hours move with the days, from 6:30am starts to 2pm closes on Monday and Tuesday out to 10:30pm on Friday and Saturday, so check the day's finish time before you plan a dinner around it. The waterfront setting is the constant, and it is a genuinely pleasant spot to idle over a long table with a settled dog.

Getting there and parking

There is free off-street parking at The Promenade along with street parking nearby, and the whole Jetty precinct is walkable once you arrive. It is a short drive from the Coffs Harbour city centre across the bridge to the Jetty side.

Close by with the dogs

The grassy Jetty Foreshores park sits right alongside for a leashed wander, and for a proper run the North Wall Beach Off-Leash Area allows dogs off-lead on the sand from the mouth of Coffs Creek to the North Wall. Jetty Beach House is another dog-friendly eat in the same precinct, and Hub Cafe Jetty covers the morning coffee run.
