Burleigh Town Hotel

Burleigh Town Hotel is a renovated local pub on Tsipura Drive in Burleigh Heads, near the M1 and Stockland, trading long hours from 10am daily. Its big beer garden is the dog-friendly zone: dogs on leads are welcome in the outdoor area while you work through the classic pub menu.

The dog setup

Dogs join you in the beer garden on a lead, staying close to your table, and staff are known to bring out iced water bowls on arrival. Dogs are not permitted inside the bistro, sports bar or gaming areas. A mat for your dog to settle on is worth packing, as the garden floor gets busy.

The vibe

This is a proper local sports pub: big screens, live music, schnitzels, parms and steak sandwiches in a bright modern fit-out. It runs long, from 10am through to the early hours, but game days fill the garden, so pick your moment if your dog prefers calm.

Max: a packed beer garden with live sport gets loud. Pick a table on the edge so your dog has a clear exit and is not boxed in by foot traffic.

Getting there and parking

The hotel is on Tsipura Drive with on-site parking, plus ample street parking nearby. It is easy to reach from the Gold Coast Highway or the M1, which makes it a handy stop between beach and hinterland runs.

While you're out there

Tarte Bakery & Cafe and Nook Espresso cover the daytime coffee side of Burleigh, and Burleigh Head National Park and the main beach are a short drive with leash rules posted on signage.
