The pairing is the point: fenced large and small dog enclosures for the off-lead run, then a huge surrounding park of paths, boardwalks and a lagoon for the on-lead wind-down. Few parks in Logan pack both into one stop this well.

Timing matters here. Weekdays peak before 8:30am and again from about 4:30pm, while weekend mid-mornings are the social sessions and can overwhelm a timid dog. A weekday mid-morning visit is the calm window. It suits households who want the dog run and the family park in one trip, and dogs who like a circuit: fence first, boardwalk after.

Getting there and parking

Off-street parking is plentiful next to the sports fields off Underwood Road. Buses service Underwood Road, but stops can be a 10 to 15 minute walk from the dog park, so most people drive.

Close by with the dogs

Coffee in the Woods on Kingston Road has a covered dog-friendly courtyard for afterwards, and Camelot Park Fenced Dog Park is the backup if the enclosures here are full. Bangalla Park Fenced Dog Park at Springwood is another fenced alternative a few minutes south.
