Getting there: Turn off McCullough St into Salix Place, where a dedicated free car park plus street parking is available. Buses run along McCullough St, followed by a short walk to the fenced area.

When to go: Sunday mornings and sunny weekends draw the biggest crowds, with occasional spikes on Wednesday and Friday evenings. Weekday mornings and mid-week afternoons are much quieter. If the fence fills up, the surrounding open parkland works well for an on-leash walk instead.
