Orana Park Dog Fenced Dog Park

Orana Park's fenced dog park on Orana Avenue is a fully enclosed, double-gated off-leash area inside a larger Blacktown City Council reserve, with parking right next to the gate.

The rules. Dogs must stay on lead everywhere outside the fenced enclosure, and can run off-leash once inside it. Pick up after your dog - bring your own bags, since on-site dispensers are not reliably stocked. The wider park includes a playground, so keep an eye on recall around families.

What's there. The fenced area has flat grassed ground, a water station for dogs, and shaded seating for owners. The surrounding reserve adds public toilets and electric barbecues if you want to make a longer visit of it.

Getting there. There is free off-street parking immediately beside the dog park on Orana Avenue. It sits in a residential pocket of Seven Hills, so check Transport for NSW for the nearest bus stop if you are not driving.

Nearby with the dogs. Cab's Cafe and Tishy and Co are both a short drive away in Seven Hills and welcome dogs in their outdoor seating, good for a coffee after a run around.

When to go. Late afternoon (4pm to 6pm) and weekends are the busiest, when it doubles as a social hub for local dogs. Weekday mid-mornings are quieter if your dog prefers a calmer session. Good for social dogs that enjoy company, less so for ones that need space.
