Tishy and Co

Tishy and Co is a bright, roomy cafe in the Powers Road industrial precinct at Seven Hills, built for early starts: doors open from 5:30am on weekdays and 7am Saturdays, with Sundays closed. It has built a following on house-made pies, sausage rolls and coffee, and dogs are welcome at the outdoor seating while their humans take a table.

The dog setup

Dogs are allowed in the outdoor seating area, a casual strip of tables in the commercial forecourt. It sits in a working industrial precinct with truck and trade traffic through the day, so keep your dog on lead and close to the table, and bring your own water bowl rather than counting on the cafe for one. The entrance is flat and step-free, which makes settling in with a dog straightforward.

Worth knowing

The coffee runs on Seven Miles beans and draws consistently good feedback, with iced drinks, matcha lattes and chai alongside. The in-house pies and sausage rolls are the signature, and the kitchen also turns out bacon and egg rolls, sandwiches, quiches and sweet treats including the banana bread regulars come back for, with a solid run of vegetarian options. There is dine-in, takeaway, delivery and curbside pickup if you would rather grab and go with the dog in the car.

Getting there and parking

The cafe is at unit J04, 22 Powers Road, with a free on-site car park at the door plus free parking in the surrounding industrial streets. Early mornings suit dogs best, before the precinct fills with trade traffic and the forecourt gets busy.

Close by with the dogs

The Orana Park Dog Fenced Dog Park is a short drive away on Orana Avenue, open around the clock with a fenced off-leash area beside Blacktown Creek walking paths, so an off-leash run either side of coffee is easy.
