Barnett Park Fenced Dog Park sits on Barnetts Road in Winston Hills, right next to Model Farms High School, and it is a fully fenced off-leash area with separate sections for small and large dogs. That split is the defining feature: nervous or small dogs get their own space away from bigger, boisterous ones, which makes this one of the more relaxed fenced parks in the Parramatta area.

Getting there: It's just off Barnetts Road, easily reached via the M2 Motorway or Windsor Road/Caroline Chisholm Drive, with street parking right by the entrance. Local CDC NSW buses stop on nearby roads if you're coming without a car.

Nearby with the dogs: Winston Hills Mall is a couple of minutes away and has cafes with outdoor seating, including JUNE, for a coffee after the walk.

Weekday afternoons (4pm to 6pm) and weekend mornings (8am to 11am) are the busiest windows. If your dog is shy or you'd rather have the space to yourselves, a mid-week morning is the quieter bet.
