What visitors mention
Samford Parklands is a fully fenced, 24-hour off-leash dog park on Warwick Lane, a short drive from Samford Village. It has separate enclosures for small and large dogs plus an on-site agility course, which makes it one of the better-equipped fenced parks in the Moreton Bay area.
The rules. Dogs must stay under effective voice control even though the area is off-leash. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs, and waste bags and bins are provided on site. The park is fully fenced, but remove a dog promptly if it becomes unruly or reactive around others.
What's there. Clean water stations with bowls, shaded seating for owners, picnic tables and benches. There is a bushland walking track nearby and a small skate park close by for families. Entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible.
Getting there. Free parking is available on site off Warwick Lane. Public transport options are limited, so driving is the practical way in. Pathways connect through to the surrounding sport and park facilities if you want to extend the walk.
Watch-outs. The ground can get muddy after rain, so check conditions before you head out, especially in the low-lying sections.

Nearby with the dogs. Spokes Cafe and The Owlery Cafe in Samford Village both have dog-friendly outdoor seating, and Cafe Lagarto on Mount Glorious Road has an open-air nursery setting that welcomes leashed dogs.
Weekday mornings are the quietest time to visit, with the most space to let your dog run properly. Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons draw the biggest crowds, which suits dogs that are social but is worth avoiding if yours prefers a quieter run.
