Lawson Park Fenced Dog Off Leash Park

Shade across the open lawn is limited, so pack water on warm days rather than leaning on the tap alone, and there are no public toilets inside the dog area itself. The wider park's walking track, garden and playground give the rest of the household something to do while one human minds the fence line.

Getting there and parking

Access is off Leon Avenue in Rosebud, with off-street parking at the park. The enclosure is a short drive from the Rosebud foreshore, which is handy when you want one outing to cover both a secure run and the bay-side walk.

Make a day of it

For a different fenced run, Woodvale Reserve and Murrowong dog park cover other corners of Rosebud, while Pier Street Reserve in Dromana is a short drive south.
