Craig Street Reserve Fenced Dog Park

Craig Street Reserve Fenced Dog Park is a secure, fully fenced off-leash area in Punchbowl, opposite the main reserve on Kylie Parade, open 24 hours a day.

The rules. Dogs can run free within the fenced boundary, but owners must keep effective control at all times and pick up after their dog, with bins provided on site. Any dog showing aggression should be removed immediately.

What's there. The park has a double-gate entry system, agility equipment such as ramps, tunnels and poles, bench seating for owners and mature trees for natural shade. There is little to no tap water on site, so bring a bowl and your own supply.

Getting there. It sits off Arthur Street or Punchbowl Road in a quiet residential pocket. Street parking on Kylie Parade can fill up, with extra spots across the road near the main reserve. Punchbowl Station is a reasonable walk away if you would rather leave the car at home.

Nearby. Moxon Cafe on Moxon Road is a short drive away for a post-park coffee and bacon and egg roll. For a wider choice of dog-friendly cafes and pet-friendly accommodation, Belmore and Bankstown are both close by.

Early mornings and weekday mid-mornings are the quietest times to visit. Sunday mornings draw the biggest crowd, so if your dog is nervous around others, aim for a weekday instead.
