For a suburb hemmed in by busy roads, that enclosed grass patch is doing quiet, important work.

Waste bags and bins are on site, though seating for owners is limited and there is no agility equipment. One practical gap: water supply at the enclosure is unreliable, so bring a bottle and a bowl, particularly in summer. Georges River Council rules apply, with dogs off-leash inside the fence only, leads required everywhere else in the park, owners staying inside the enclosure and keeping dogs under effective voice or hand control, and droppings binned immediately. Dogs showing aggression need to be leashed and taken out.

Max: voice control still matters inside the fence. If your dog crowds the gate when newcomers arrive, stand between them and the gate before unclipping.

Riverwood Station on the T8 Airport and South line is a short walk away, which is rare for a fenced dog park and handy for locals without a car. The broader park has a children's playground and sports ovals, so keep dogs leashed and clear of the playground footprint.
