Harrap Road Reserve Fenced Dog Park

Harrap Road Reserve Fenced Dog Park is a fully fenced, tree-shaded off-leash run on Harrap Road in Mount Martha, sitting directly beside a fenced children's playground. Secure fencing plus natural shade from mature trees makes it a handy family stop on the peninsula.

The dog setup

Off-leash applies only inside the fenced dog area; dogs are strictly excluded from the adjacent playground, and the wider reserve and car park are on lead. Keep your dog supervised and under voice control, and use the bins on site for waste. A rotunda at the entrance gives you somewhere to sit while you watch the run, and the enclosure is roughly rectangular grass with established trees around the edges.

There is often no water tap for dogs, so carry your own bottle and bowl. This is a bush-fringed setting on the Mornington Peninsula, so stay alert for snakes in the warmer months and keep close to dogs that like to nose through the leaf litter.

Turn off the Nepean Highway onto Harrap Road; buses along the Nepean Highway stop within walking distance if you are arriving without a car.
