Instead, pick up takeaway from the retail strips on Dalton Road or High Street, or head to nearby suburbs for a proper stop: ROUTE 21 and Workers Hub Cafe in Thomastown, or Modo Mia in Mill Park.

When to go. Weekday afternoons between 4pm and 6pm are the busiest slot, and weekends draw steady crowds. Go early or late morning for a quieter run, and give it a miss for a day or two after heavy rain if you want to avoid the boggy patches.
