Elmore Park Fenced Dog Park in High Wycombe offers about half a hectare of fully enclosed off-leash space with a practical edge over single-zone parks: two fenced yards that separate small dogs from large ones. Built in 2021 and sitting beside a local playground and shops, it is a community exercise ground designed around secure boundaries.

The dog setup

Both yards are fully fenced with double-gate entry, and off-leash time applies only inside them; on the surrounding City of Kalamunda parkland, leads stay on. Inside you get grassed running space mixed with sandy sections, agility and obstacle equipment, a water fountain serving both dogs and people, and undercover seating with benches.

The rules are standard but enforced by common sense: keep your dog in its size-appropriate zone, never leave it unattended, remove any dog showing aggression immediately, and use the provided bag dispensers and bins. Responsibility stays with the owner whether or not there is a fence.

Shade is established but partial, so the yards heat up on summer afternoons. The adjacent playground and BBQ area make this an easy family stop, and the neighbouring shops cover basics. Crowd peaks land Sunday evenings and weekday afternoons into evenings; mid-week mornings, Friday evenings and Saturday nights are the quiet windows. The split zones also suit multi-dog households that need to separate by size.

The park sits off Elmore Way at 24 Elmore Way, High Wycombe, with parking bays right beside the entry gates. Locals can walk in via the adjacent shopping precinct.

Close by with the dogs

The Hales fenced dog park and the Hartfield Park dog exercise area are the nearest alternatives in Forrestfield, and the Whistlepipe Gully walk makes a good on-lead counterpoint. For coffee, Mason and Bird in Kalamunda is worth the short drive.
