Redcliffe dog park

Redcliffe dog park is a fenced off-lead dog section in Clontarf on the Redcliffe Peninsula, run by the City of Moreton Bay. The dog setup

The fenced dog section gives a secure off-lead run with some shade over it, and public toilets sit close by for the humans. That is the extent of the equipment list, so bring your own water in case the on-site supply is out, and expect the space to fill on weekend mornings. Regulars keep the place tidy, and the bin coverage means waste rarely lingers.

Max: pack your own water bowl. The supply here is not always running, and a fenced run in the Queensland sun without a backup is a short trip.

Worth knowing

Inside the enclosure dogs can run off lead, but they need to stay under effective voice control and return when called. Shut the gate behind you, use the bins provided for waste, and follow the general City of Moreton Bay off-lead rules everywhere else on the reserve.

Getting there

The park sits on the Clontarf side of the peninsula, an easy drive off the Hornibrook Esplanade end of town, with street parking on the surrounding residential blocks. Weekday mornings and late afternoons are the calmest windows if your dog prefers a quieter session, and the esplanade makes a good on-lead warm-up loop before you open the gate.

For a bigger fenced session, Kroll Gardens Fenced Dog Park on Duffield Road is close by and much larger. Afterwards the Puk Espresso caravan on Hornibrook Esplanade does dog-friendly waterfront coffee, with Bramble Bay General a little further down the strip.
