This is a fenced off-leash dog area on the Clontarf side of the Redcliffe Peninsula, run by the City of Moreton Bay. Reviews are limited and point to a straightforward local dog section with a dedicated fenced run, shade and toilets rather than a marquee facility.

The rules. Inside the fenced enclosure dogs may be off-leash, but they must stay under effective voice control and return when called. Keep the gate shut behind you, pick up after your dog using the bins provided, and follow the general City of Moreton Bay off-leash rules elsewhere on the reserve.

What's there. Expect the local-park basics: a fenced dog section, some shade, and public toilets nearby. Take your own water in case the on-site supply is out.

Nearby with the dogs. For a much larger fenced run, Kroll Gardens on Duffield Road is close by. Puk Espresso and Bramble Bay General on Hornibrook Esplanade are the go-to coffee stops afterwards.

Weekday mornings and late afternoons are the calmest. Good for a quick, contained off-leash session close to home when you do not need the scale of the bigger peninsula parks.
