What visitors mention
A large, fully fenced off-leash park on the edge of 7th Brigade Park, on the Chermside-Geebung border. The draw is the split layout: a separate small-dog and puppy pen alongside a big open run for everyone else, so timid dogs are not stuck sharing space with boisterous ones.
The rules. Keep your dog leashed until you are inside the fenced area, then it is off-leash under voice control. Owners of large dogs should stay out of the small-dog pen. Dogs showing aggression or non-stop barking need to come out and go on-lead. Clean up after your dog, and make sure yours is registered and vaccinated before it mixes with the pack.
What is there. Double-gated entry so nothing bolts, water fountains and bowls, seating for owners, and some basic agility gear (ramps, tunnels, poles). The fenced run is lit at night, which makes it a genuine option for an after-work visit in winter.
Getting there. Access is off Beor Street, Chermside, with free parking on the surrounding streets and in the nearby 7th Brigade Park bays. The nearest bus stops sit along Hamilton Road, a short walk away. It sits handily between Gympie Road and Murphy Road for northside drivers.

Nearby with the dogs. Alter Community Coffee on Hamilton Road runs an outdoor picnic-table setup that welcomes dogs, and Table 26 inside Westfield Chermside has a dedicated pet-friendly dining area if you want a proper feed afterwards.
When to go. Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons are the busiest; weekend mornings run moderate. For a calmer session, aim for a mid-week morning. The park is big enough that a nervous dog can find a quieter corner in the peripheral grass away from the main scrum.
