Bolinda Road Dog Off Leash Area is a Hume City Council reserve in Campbellfield built around two large open ovals, dedicated as off-leash space in 2018. It is quieter than some of the busier Hume dog parks, which suits high-energy dogs that need room to sprint without a crowd.

• The rules. Dogs must be under effective voice control while off-leash. Keep dogs at least 10 metres from the children's playground equipment. Dogs must stay on-leash in the car park and any on-leash areas adjacent to the ovals. Owners are required to carry bags and clean up after their dogs.
• What's there. A dedicated car park, water taps, shaded and unshaded picnic tables and benches, plus a small playground, cricket nets and a skatepark nearby.
• Getting there. The reserve is off the Hume Highway/Cooper Street, accessed via Bolinda Road, with parking within the reserve boundary. It's best reached by car, though local bus routes service the area.
• Watch-outs. The ovals are fenced but gaps exist near the exits, so don't rely on fencing alone for a dog with poor recall.

Best visited mid-week mornings or early afternoons if you want the ovals to yourselves. Late afternoons after 4pm and weekend mornings bring out the local regulars, which is fine for a social dog but worth avoiding for a reactive one.
