What visitors mention
The short version. The Glades Fenced Dog Park sits inside the Glades estate at 163 Tourmaline Boulevard, Byford, and it is a fully fenced off-leash space with separate runs for large and small dogs. Double-gated entries and natural tree shade make it one of the more comfortable enclosed parks in the area.
The rules. Dogs are off-leash only inside the fenced enclosures and must be leashed in the surrounding estate streets. Someone over 16 needs to supervise at all times, aggressive dogs are not welcome, and you are expected to pick up after your dog. Bags and bins are provided on site.
What is there. Both enclosures are fully fenced with double gates. There is a water tap for dogs, shaded seating for owners, sandpits and logs for climbing, and a mix of open grass and mulch underfoot. The separate small-dog run is genuinely useful if your dog finds the boisterous crowd too much.
Getting there. The park is inside the Glades estate, with limited free street parking along Tourmaline Boulevard. A car is easiest; the nearest bus stops sit on surrounding estate roads and leave you a short walk in.
Nearby with the dogs. Strand Lakeside Cafe on Olsen Gardens is close by for a coffee, and Fig & Ivy on Abernethy Road (about a three-minute drive) has dog-friendly outdoor corners.

Best visited on a weekday morning for calm, or a weekend morning if your dog thrives on company. Bring your own water in summer as the single tap can get busy.
