What visitors mention
Aveley Fenced Dog Park is a double-gated, fully fenced off-leash park on Viridian Boulevard in Aveley, split into separate large-dog and small-dog enclosures, so it works even if your dog is nervous around bigger playmates.
The rules. Dogs need to be under effective voice control at all times, even though the park is fenced. Clean up after your dog straight away, bins are provided on-site. Dogs showing aggression towards other dogs or people should be removed. Keep both gates of the double-gate entry closed behind you when you go in or out, it is what keeps the park safe for reactive or escape-prone dogs.
What's there. Both the large and small dog sections have agility equipment built in, along with water taps, shade trees, and picnic tables for owners. The ground is grassed rather than bare dirt. There do not appear to be public toilets right at the park, so plan ahead if you need one.
Getting there. The park is at 9 Viridian Boulevard, Aveley, just off The Broadway, with free street parking alongside. Transperth bus routes 335 and 336 run through the area, though you will likely have a short walk from the nearest stop.

Nearby with the dogs. Aveley itself is light on dog-friendly cafes and stays, but the Swan Valley is close by and has several dog-friendly wineries with outdoor seating, plus pubs such as The Henley Brook that welcome dogs in their outdoor areas. Worth the short drive if you want to turn the park visit into a full outing.
Weekday mornings and early afternoons are the quietest times to visit. Weekend mornings and weekday evenings from about 5 to 6.30pm draw the biggest crowds, so head there outside those windows if your dog prefers a calmer session.
