William Scott Park Fenced Dog Park in Arana Hills is a fully fenced off-leash area at 147 Bunya Road, with separate yards for big and small dogs, an agility course, and creek-side paths outside the fence for an on-leash wander afterwards. It is open around the clock under City of Moreton Bay.

The dog setup

Dogs can run off-leash only inside the fenced enclosure; everywhere else in the park, including the surrounding paths and playground area, dogs must be on-leash. Owners need reliable voice control inside the yards, dogs must not harass other park users, and picking up after your dog is expected, with bags and bins provided on site. The park splits into separate fenced yards for large and small dogs, so nervous or older dogs are not sharing space with boisterous larger ones. There is an agility course for dogs that like a job to do, plus water taps and bowls and shaded seating for owners.

Weekday evenings from 4pm to 6pm and weekend mornings from 7am to 10am are the busiest windows; an early weekday afternoon is the better bet if you want the yards to yourself. The ground can turn muddy after rain or dusty in dry spells, so expect to towel off paws before getting back in the car. Outside the fence, flat concrete paths wind past the playground and open sports field, and the creek beds attract local birdlife and a nearby flying fox colony.

On-street parking along Bunya Road is generally straightforward outside peak times but fills quickly on busy weekend mornings, so arrive early if you are unloading dogs and gear. Local bus routes stop nearby on Bunya Road if you are walking in.
