Cafe By Blackboard SkyRidge

Cafe By Blackboard SkyRidge is a small estate cafe beside the SkyRidge Sales and Experience Centre at 49 Parkway Circuit, Worongary, pouring Blackboard's specialty roast with an outdoor garden courtyard that takes dogs. It runs 6.30am starts daily, closing 3pm most days and 2pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the open-air garden courtyard, kept on lead. There is space to settle beside your table on the grass and paving, and staff keep a water bowl available. Inside is the usual people-only zone. Being a sales-suite cafe, it is quiet mid-morning on weekdays and fills with locals on weekends.

Worth knowing

The menu leans quick and fresh: breakfast rolls, filled bagels, salmon bagel and toasties, plus muffins, protein balls and carrot cake in the cabinet. Regulars rate the iced mocha and the service, and it holds a 4.8 rating across about 70 reviews. Coffee is the Blackboard house roast, the same crew behind the Varsity Lakes original.

Getting there and parking

The cafe sits just off the M1 at exit 77 in the SkyRidge estate, which makes it an easy stop for anyone heading between Nerang and Robina. Parking is on Parkway Circuit near the sales centre, a short walk from the door.

Close by with the dogs

For a run before coffee, Robina Common Fenced Dog Park is the closest fenced option, while Kamholtz Family Fenced Dog Park across the M1 adds agility equipment and a creek splash. Note that nearby Nerang National Park bans dogs outright, so stick to council reserves.
