GoodGood West End

GoodGood sits on Montague Road in West End, a deli-focused cafe that reworked its frontage in a 2025 refit to give dog owners a proper spot to settle. It has quickly become one of the suburb's most talked-about coffee stops, and the slim dog-friendly strip out the front earns it a place on any Montague Road walk.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor area at the front, along the footpath. There is no courtyard, so this is a footpath-side visit rather than a sit-down-inside affair. Staff tend to be accommodating, and the footpath tables make tying up simple. Bring your own water bowl to be safe.

Worth knowing

The draw is the coffee and the deli counter, with fresh sandwiches and brunch alongside croissants, almond croissants and danishes, and matcha for the non-coffee drinkers. Hours run 6am to 1pm Monday to Saturday and 7am to midday Sunday, so it is a morning venue. Weekend mornings are busy and the front tables fill fast.

Getting there and parking

Street parking runs along Montague Road and the side streets, but it turns over slowly on Saturdays. Local buses run along Montague Road if you would rather leave the car, and West End is an easy ride from the city over the Victoria Bridge side of the river.

Close by with the dogs

Orleigh Dog Park is a short walk away on the riverbank, a fully fenced off-leash space with a water tap and shade, so a run there before coffee is an easy add-on. The Bicentennial Bikeway on the Brisbane River puts an on-lead riverside loop within reach too. For a second coffee stop, Bright Eyes Coffee is a few blocks north.
