Gelo-Lab is an artisanal gelato shop at 125 to 127 Watton Street in Werribee, making it a handy warm-weather pit stop on a walk along the main strip. It is a grab-a-scoop spot rather than a sit-down cafe.

Getting there. It is on Watton Street with plenty of free street parking, though the strip gets busy on weekend evenings. Werribee Station is about a 500-to-600-metre walk.

Nearby with the dogs. The Werribee River Trail is a short walk away for an on-lead stroll to walk off the dessert, and Watton Street has several dog-friendly cafes if you want a coffee alongside.
