Little Gem Cafe

Little Gem is a small dog-friendly coffee kiosk on the Yarra riverfront at 207 Yarra Street, Warrandyte, next to the Wonguim Wilam playspace. It is geared for walkers: grab a coffee and a toastie and sit out by the river with your dog.

The dog setup. Outdoor seating with a covered patio, welcoming to dogs throughout the outdoor area. Water bowls are provided and dog treats are often available to buy. A fire pit runs in the colder months.

Good to know. Known for its coffee and toasted sandwiches, and it stocks local Nine Bakery cakes and cookies. Hours vary seasonally, so check their social media before a special trip.

Getting there and parking. Street parking along Yarra Street, which gets busy on weekends. Sits right by the Wonguim Wilam playspace on the riverbank.

Nearby with the dogs. The Warrandyte River Reserve walking paths run along the river right here, so it pairs naturally with an off-leash walk. Note dogs are not permitted in the fenced wonguim wilam playspace itself.
