Now and Not Yet.

Now and Not Yet sits on Yarra Street in the middle of the Warrandyte village, directly across the road from the river, and it runs as a social enterprise with an adjoining gallery space. For dog owners the appeal is simple: outdoor tables on the main strip and a riverside walk on the other side of the road.

Water is available for pets, just ask the staff for a bowl, though bringing your own covers the busier services. Reviewers consistently mention the kind, unhurried service, and the menu leans on local produce with Eggs Benedict and the soy latte among the regular callouts. The cafe doubles as a community and art hub, so there is usually something on the gallery wall worth a look while you wait. It opens 8am to 3pm every day.

Getting there and parking

Street parking on Yarra Street out front is limited. There is more in the side streets and a car park behind the shops, and the village is compact enough that any of it is a short walk.

Close by with the dogs

Warrandyte River Reserve Dog Off Leash Area is right there by the river and is the obvious pairing, and George's Milkbar is the village alternative for a second coffee.
