Noah's Cafe Taren Point

Noah's Cafe is a casual all-day brunch spot in the Taren Point business precinct, pouring Three Pence Coffee and dishing up acai bowls, hearty breakfast burgers and a well-stocked grab-and-go cabinet. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor seating out front, and it is an easy stop before or after a run at the fenced dog park just down the road.

The dog setup

Dogs sit with you at the outdoor and footpath tables on a lead, away from the indoor ordering and food-prep areas. Staff are generally accommodating and will bring a water bowl out on request, though it is worth carrying your own on a warmer day. The outdoor seating area is small, so on busy mornings a dog that prefers space will do better at the edge tables.

Worth knowing

The acai bowl is the signature, built on pure acai with seasonal fruit, banana, granola and passionfruit pulp. Alongside it: smashed avo on sourdough with Danish feta and dukkah, a serious breakfast burger with sriracha bacon, egg and hash brown, and a grab-and-go cabinet of fresh wraps, sandwiches, salads and bircher for a fast takeaway with the dog in tow. There are vegan and vegetarian options too, handy for mixed groups. Hours run early: from 5am on weekdays, Saturday from 6am, closed Sunday, and you can pre-order through the Hey You app to skip the wait.

Getting there and parking

The cafe is at 1/34 Alexander Avenue, Taren Point NSW 2229, in the industrial precinct south of Caringbah. Free street parking is generally easy along Alexander Avenue and the surrounding streets, so no circling with a dog in the car.

Close by with the dogs

Apsley Place Fenced Dog Park is a short drive away for an off-leash run, and the dog-friendly beaches at Kurnell are in reach over the Captain Cook Bridge if you want a full morning. For another coffee stop, Mr Paisleys Cafe is in nearby Caringbah and LOAF sits at the Cronulla end.
