Myrtle & Blossom is a relaxed cafe at 1 Loudon Street, on the corner of Brighton Road and opposite the heritage Sandgate Town Hall. It is a community-minded spot with a focus on local produce, and an easy dog-friendly stop in central Sandgate.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables, which are generally quiet and comfortable; indoor seating is not suited to pets. Staff are friendly to dogs and have been known to bring water out.

Good to know. Known for nitrate-free bacon, house-made hollandaise, sourdough and fresh juices, with a good run of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. Open Tuesday to Sunday, closed Mondays.

Getting there. On the corner of Loudon Street and Brighton Road, with free street parking along Brighton Road and the surrounding streets, in a flat and walkable part of Sandgate.
