Capulet & Co is a relaxed, community-focused cafe at 95 Brighton Road in the heart of Sandgate, and a regular stop for locals walking their dogs. It is a genuinely dog-welcoming spot, with the bonus of a barber and a bit of retail under the same roof.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables on the footpath out the front and side; indoor seating is for people. Water bowls are put out, and the team has been known to do a puppuccino for canine regulars.

Good to know. The coffee is well regarded, often called among the best in Sandgate, and the brunch menu runs to eggs benedict, acai bowls and similar. The vibe is casual and friendly.
