Brighton Jetty Bakery sits on the main strip at 83 Jetty Road, a short walk up from the beach and jetty, and it is one of the more dog-aware stops on the street. The draw is simple: a casual footpath spot where staff keep dog biscuits behind the counter.

Getting there. Right on Jetty Road, the main run down to the foreshore. Street parking is on Jetty Road and the side avenues, but it goes early on weekends and through summer, so come before mid-morning if you want a table and a park.

Nearby with the dogs. The beach and foreshore are a couple of minutes downhill for a post-breakfast walk, and the whole strip is easy going with a dog on lead. If the queue is long, The Seller Door and Big Shots a few doors down also seat dogs outside.
