Cypher Coffee

Cypher Coffee is a specialty cafe at Shop 3, 6 Knox Street, sitting right beside Sandgate Station. The location is the selling point: it is an easy first or last stop of a bayside outing, and handy if you are travelling with a dog on the train.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor and footpath seating out the front, where small tables and stools line the sidewalk. Water bowls are typically put out for dogs.

Good to know. Pours Bear Bones specialty coffee and is known for creative bagels, such as the prosciutto, gorgonzola and green apple combination. Free Wi-Fi and a relaxed local feel. Open daily from early until early afternoon.

Getting there. Right next to Sandgate Station and the bus terminal. On-street parking around Knox Street and Bowser Parade can fill at weekend peaks.

Nearby with the dogs. The Sandgate Foreshore Park off-leash area is a short walk or drive, best at low tide, and Shorncliffe Pier is about a 10-minute walk for an on-leash stroll.
