A busy local sandwich and coffee spot at 3B Newlands Road, known for generous gourmet panini, and conveniently sat across from a dog park and playground.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor and footpath seating out the front. Indoor seating is people-only, as it is for any food venue. Water bowls are usually out the front, but pack a collapsible bowl for busy days.

Good to know. Famous for loaded, slow-cooked panini, including a slow-cooked beef rendang version, plus locally roasted coffee and a rotating display of pastries and sweets. Open Mon to Fri 5:30am to 3pm and Sat 8am to 2:30pm.

Getting there. On Newlands Road, with free street parking along Newlands Road and nearby streets; watch for clearway and time limits during weekday peaks.

Nearby with the dogs. A dog park and playground sit directly across the street, and Edwardes Lake Park is a few minutes down the road for a longer off-leash run.
