Redcliffe Treehouse

Redcliffe Treehouse is a cafe, bookstore and gift space at 35 Redcliffe Parade, towards the southern end of the strip and looking over Moreton Bay. It is equal parts coffee stop and community space: browse the shelves, borrow a board game, and settle into the street-level tables out front. The kitchen pours barista coffee alongside a rotating seasonal menu with scones, light brunch bites and lunch, and reviews regularly praise the gluten-free options.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor seating fronting Redcliffe Parade, on lead beside your table. Under food-handling rules the cafe and bookstore interior stays dog-free, so plan your visit as an outside one. Water bowls are usually around; ask staff or bring your own. The street tables are good for people-watching, and a settled dog comfortable with passing foot traffic fits the relaxed scene well.

Pepsi: weekday mornings are the quiet window. Grab a front table, order the scones, and let your dog watch the parade go by.

Worth knowing

The venue hosts community events such as book clubs and art classes, and the retail side stocks local clothing, accessories and homewares alongside the books. Trading runs to 4pm on weekdays and 3pm on weekends; the morning opening time varies between listings, so check their website or socials if you are chasing the first coffee of the day.

Getting there and parking

Street parking on Redcliffe Parade is limited and time-restricted; a larger public car park sits behind the shops on the waterfront side. The Redcliffe Jetty is an easy walk away, so you can fold a stop here into a foreshore loop.

Close by with the dogs

The foreshore boardwalk runs right past for an on-lead stroll, and the Sunday Redcliffe Markets on the parade are dog-friendly, though keep a short lead in the crowd and test the pavement heat on summer days. Note that nearby Suttons Beach prohibits dogs on the patrolled beach during patrol times, so for an off-lead run head to Scarborough Dog Beach at Queens Beach North instead.
