The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables on the Victoria Avenue footpath, on lead beside you. The setup is compact and water bowls are not guaranteed, so bring your own water and a portable bowl. Most of the trade is takeaway, so even on busy mornings the footpath seats turn over quickly and there is usually a spot for you and your dog.

Worth knowing

The reputation here rests on the coffee, which locals rate among the best on the peninsula, backed by a tight list of house blends led by the darker Full Throttle and the smoother Saint Blend. Light breakfast and brunch bites cover the food side. Hours run from 5:30am to 1pm on weekdays, 6:30am to 12pm Saturday and 7am to 11:30am Sunday, so plan your visit for the morning rather than the afternoon.

Getting there and parking

Street parking runs along Victoria Avenue and the nearby side streets, and the pocket is busy enough that spaces turn over quickly. The cafe works best as part of a peninsula loop: the off-lead sand at Queens Beach North dog beach is a few minutes up the road for a run before or after, and for a sit-down feed the Over There Cafe and Redcliffe Treehouse cover the other dog-friendly options nearby.
