Oscar Smith

Oscar Smith is an all-day cafe and bar on High Street in Preston, attached to the Quest Preston building, serving breakfast through to dinner, tapas and drinks. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables, which makes it an easy stop on a walk.

Getting there. The 86 tram stops nearby (around stop 46) and Preston station is close. Street parking is available but can be busy.

When to go. Open daily from morning to late afternoon. For a relaxed outdoor table with the dog, avoid the weekend brunch peak. Ray Bramham Gardens nearby is handy for a leashed walk afterwards.
