Drip Koffee House

Drip Koffee House operates from 5 Factory Street in Pomona, based inside the Mini Studios creative space and run by locals Shantelle and Ryan. It is a small, coffee-first operation: Monday to Friday from 5am to midday, Saturdays 6am to midday, closed Sundays. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor seating out front, and the cafe's social feeds lean into it with a running dogs-of-Drip feature for patrons who tag theirs.

The dog setup

The front outdoor area is the dog zone; the compact interior stays people-only. Fresh water is usually on hand for waiting dogs, though a small outdoor footprint means a settled, on-lead dog beside the table is the etiquette. This is a grab-and-go kind of place, so a dog that is happy to hang about while you order from the counter will be fine.

The coffee and food

The brews run on Allpress beans, with espresso, mochas and the usual barista line-up, plus a rotating case of sweet treats and morning snacks. There is no big breakfast menu; the draw is the coffee itself, which is what regulars in this hinterland town keep mentioning. Pre-ordering by phone or message is the workaround if you are on a tight morning.

Getting there and parking

Factory Street sits in Pomona's small town centre, with free street parking along the block and an easy walk from Pomona station. The street is quiet outside the morning rush, so finding a kerbside spot is rarely a problem.

Close by with the dogs

Cooroora Creek Park off Mill Street is Pomona's designated off-lead area, a short stroll away with creek-side green to burn off energy. One caution on the town's other famous landmark: dogs are not permitted on the Mount Cooroora summit route because it sits in protected reserve, so leave the climb for a dog-free day.
