Nearby with the dogs. Picnic Point Reserve wraps around the cafe with riverbank walking paths (leash required in the reserve), and the river walk itself is a flat, scenic stretch worth doing either side of your coffee.

Best in the morning or late afternoon when the light is on the water and outdoor tables are easy to get. Good pick if your dog is happy to sit and watch the river rather than needing to run.
